Grey days
lead to contemplation
to find a place
when sunny days have gone
where the weather warmed the soul
as the heart beats freely
that feeling of spring
when autumn days have come
to darken the horizon
as winter is here again
Grey days
lead to contemplation
to find a place
when sunny days have gone
where the weather warmed the soul
as the heart beats freely
that feeling of spring
when autumn days have come
to darken the horizon
as winter is here again
In these days
I have forgotten the rain
its moisture
a distant memory
The shadows over the sky
darkening greys
seem nonexistent
In the City
of glass and concrete
the desert sands
swept them away
Those days without a cause
seldom few, have but remorse,
to travel across the land,
hardships are reminiscent,
peace mends the hearts sorrow,
for now that journey
has come to an end.
