spring is in the air
rain falls, then stops falling here.
toads mating outside
spring is in the air
rain falls, then stops falling here.
toads mating outside
the veg is spilling over
all sorts of growth
pumpkins are ready
couchettes looking good
peas climbing high
sunflowers peaking out
carrots popping up
potatoes growing down
wildflowers bloom
bees humming past
all colours as bright as the sun
seasons change
brings about a feeling
to look inwards for guidance
reaching a state of understanding
seeing one’s true nature
recognising the difference
be more expansive
with your surroundings
at the end of the day
both will have changed
Autumn leaves,
crunch under my feet.
Their disheveled shapes,
fallen cries.
Each tree, shakes off
its branches, in the wind.
As the season turns
and the weather changes.
Our paths become,
that of one,
who is lost in colour
and cannot change.
bird don’t fly away
stay here with me
in my garden of green
your colours so pristine
in the home you built
from the surrounding tree
spending time, with family
till fully fledged they leave
seasons pass, yet remain
waiting for the chance again
to see them reunited
so that i may hear joy
