to encourages the slower ones
to keep pace
till the end of the race

I’ve seen a dog
bite its own tail
and then turn around
to bark
at itself

their the same as your dreams
and when he appears
he’s not what he seems
Fish
in the shallow
or in the deep
are creatures that sleep
and when the line is cast
they retreat
Rabbit
with his big ears
and fluffy tail
when the rain stopped
he emerged from his burrow
to great the sun
Bear
the salmon ignore the Bear
they have a purpose
their are so many
only few get through
but those that do
are the ones
that birth the future

or not at all
and when they meet
their love is eternal
Queen
perplexed by her beauty
her soft lips and striking eyes
the way she twirls her hair
her voice soft but authoritative
her perfume sweet like ambrosia
holding court by your side
Poem 4
a bridge too far
it’s cost too high
defending an Idea
that does not align with their own
wounding the heart
are the words spoken
their true intentions
known to a select few
though the grass may seem green
on the other side
the music that is being played
is not the one I want to hear
united by one goal
from white to black
the stars are gone
what was once great
shall bleed red again
