as it falls
the birds fly by
from nest to nest
each drop
a message from Heaven
we found our place
peace is to be reasoned
and grace shared
trees collect the water
their branches are heavy
the colours change
as does the sky
flowers are scattered
brightening the surroundings
may they always shape
our destiny

to distant lands
where we left our hearts
when ones mind is empty
and our love is full
to share dreams
and remain still
shelter being from harm
when all is lost
nothing remains
a home will be found
where memories are made
the two of you together
in springtime
getting ready to build your nest
digging up worms
with your orange beaks
in the green garden
let the days pass by

like the tide
ebbs and flows
we feel the changes of the moon
as the stars reflect their light
bringing us home
seasons change
as we follow each other

can you hear the bells ring
sitting around the Christmas tree

food is on the table
wine is being poured
crackers are pulled

Generations in the making
well trodden are these ways
footprints in time leave a path
for the chosen few to follow
along the plain and streams
bridges across rivers
over hills and mountains
different cultures of people
all colours of the rainbow
on an average day
the sky changes
different clouds move
the sun peaks through
the garden is green
still wet from the rain
I sit at my computer
listening to music
and write my feeling down
content in my well being
Barren hillsides
where I make my home
Open spaces
seldom view themselves
I live alone
where others go
i dare not venture
To be free
take your leave
Cherish life
may it be plentiful
as a mountain spring
bird don’t fly away
stay here with me
in my garden of green
your colours so pristine
in the home you built
from the surrounding tree
spending time, with family
till fully fledged they leave
seasons pass, yet remain
waiting for the chance again
to see them reunited
so that i may hear joy
