subtle like your eyes
reflect each day passing
sunrise
sunset
symmetry
the colour change
subtle like your eyes
reflect each day passing
what is that I could hear
in the hedgerow
but hiding from me was
a blackbird in the brambles
thinking back on it now
seem silly she’d be following me
but at that time
it was just her and me
I feel the rain
For when the clouds begin to gather
Each morning
I see their thoughts collect
of natures wears
and although it may be grey
my feelings are at bay
the sun will shine through
I trace the skies
its light dances
where shadows are seen
my thoughts are displaced
creating a memory
in their place
as the sunshines
the day renews itself
we are all part of it
the moon appears
as heaven and earth
are reunited
As I sit alone
thoughts cross my mind,
a kaleidoscope of memories.
Cherish those
while they still remain,
as spring
fades into autumn—
may they last you
all your years.
a butterfly came to visit me
her colour a blur
of brown and black
but I could make out her eyes
as if to say hello
farewell and goodbye
the sunrise
over the hills
a bright day—
the light of which
stays impressed
in the memory.
a bright full moon
the clouds dance
light shines through
darkness is gone
to the night sky
the sun returns
When all is done, nothing left.
What once was new, is old again.
To stand upon the shore,
the seas subconscious call.
Birds fly past, rekindle thoughts.
Rejoice! for the wind has given breath,
so we may feel the light
to ignite the pinnacles of heaven.
