grey days
lead to contemplation
of sunnier times
when all those around you
have lost their way
when the fog of doubt
clouds the mind
and the notion of thought
becomes an ocean
and the stars no longer shine
where is that compass of mine
grey days
lead to contemplation
of sunnier times
when all those around you
have lost their way
when the fog of doubt
clouds the mind
and the notion of thought
becomes an ocean
and the stars no longer shine
where is that compass of mine
on a foggy day
when you look out towards the mountains
see the past remains
up here hidden in the clouds
Immortals reside
thunder clouds
as darkness descends
surrounding me
enveloping my heart
turning the world inside out
the sound is deafening
like a war zone of nature
beating wind against the sky
turning shapes into nightmares
may all this be passing
as we dream of a new world
Is the moon watching me
as the stars pass by
in the night sky
can we still see them
during the day
the present blue
then covered by clouds
from the unknowing void
laid out before us
Half moon
pink/grey are the clouds
adoring the blue
the sky is set
below lie the trees
surrounding the houses
inside are the people
the sun shines bright
across the hills
sprinkled are our dreams
with sweet intent
Dragon sky
clouds part
waiting night
swirling around
dancing high
dancing low
grey black
evening light
striking colours
perfect cloud
a calligraphy
above the clouds
flying in the sun
good vibes good times
looking down
the changing scenery
the trolley passes by
a drink in hand
relaxing in the chair
without a care
let the pilot take me there
across the clouds
the hills wait
as the road winds down
intently I feel the need
to be apart of it all
and without understanding
take nothing away from it
The hills fade into the sky
as the sun turns into fire
changing clouds
obscure the view
thunder reigns
the day ends
night draws in
as the stars shoot across the sky
Painted clouds
across a sky
I sit and dream
with contemplation
I write what unfolds
as stillness lies
what we share
is left unknown
spread far and wide
