stem to flower
when spring
meets summer
once again
stem to flower
when spring
meets summer
once again
winter settles in
as animals retreat
away from the world
till the ice thaws
I feel the rain
For when the clouds begin to gather
Each morning
I see their thoughts collect
of natures wears
and although it may be grey
my feelings are at bay
the sun will shine through
As I sit alone
thoughts cross my mind,
a kaleidoscope of memories.
Cherish those
while they still remain,
as spring
fades into autumn—
may they last you
all your years.
a butterfly came to visit me
her colour a blur
of brown and black
but I could make out her eyes
as if to say hello
farewell and goodbye
