across the stars
to distant lands
where we left our hearts
when ones mind is empty
and our love is full

going through the wilderness

I saw a flock of sparrows
as they passed over my garden
they formed a shape an arrow
as if to point the way
bringing about a commotion
they traveled above
stirring up chaos
reminding the over birds
that we who journey in the skies
have but one purpose
for each and everyone of us
to follow them as they fly by
Generations in the making
well trodden are these ways
footprints in time leave a path
for the chosen few to follow
along the plain and streams
bridges across rivers
over hills and mountains
different cultures of people
all colours of the rainbow
flying ducks
over the sea
like arrows
parting the skies
they know where they are going
we should follow them
to distant lands
there we shall have another life together
a dream to unfold
a beacon of hope
where we all rejoice
at last we have found our home
let the rain fall on me
as I see my future
in a distant land
of neon lights
and concrete dreams
developing each moment
the fathomless beginning
a knowing purpose
transcendent being
Those days without a cause
seldom few, have but remorse,
to travel across the land,
hardships are reminiscent,
peace mends the hearts sorrow,
for now that journey
has come to an end.
