My vision grows thin
as I walk away
I look to see you again
When I sleep
upon the lost shore
nevermore
My vision grows thin
as I walk away
I look to see you again
When I sleep
upon the lost shore
nevermore
sunrise
sunset
silhouette
Painted clouds
across a sky
I sit and dream
with contemplation
I write what unfolds
as stillness lies
what we share
is left unknown
spread far and wide
My head is in the clouds
but I can still see
although there may be something
there waiting for me
but before I gaze aloft
and stand and stare
I wonder what lies over there
my silhouette
changes with the light;
as I contemplate
the ocean still.
