Lost Moments

Turn to face me

one last time

so I can remember

the remark you made

still haunts me

as do these long days

without you

Is the moon watching over me

Is the moon watching me

as the stars pass by

in the night sky

can we still see them

during the day

the present blue

then covered by clouds

from the unknowing void

laid out before us

I captured the light

I captured the light

fading from the day

and put it in a bottle

to light the way

peering through darkness

let the night take hold

safe knowing that

she is always with me

Looking onward

When I look out towards the hills

I feel a sense of loss

Abandoned places in ruin

A pathway leads

Towards the mountain

Where I will not follow

Supermoon

The moon in the sky

Looking down on us

Bright is it’s light

Changing the night

Bringing peace

For all those to see

Love between you and me

Robin redbreast

Robin in the garden

on top of the tree

looking down at me

singing his song

that little redbreast

all day long

Leaf frog

In front of me

was a leaf frog

Passing me by

a grey path

Crisscrossing pattern

green/brown

Untitled

The time has come,

for the Leviathan…

Outside there will be silence.

Inside there will be peace.

The man strode

as the lion strides

an indigo sunrise

All that is good

All that is good

is green in the world

hold onto the blue

for without both

we shall perish…
