Barren hillsides
where I make my home
Open spaces
seldom view themselves
I live alone
where others go
i dare not venture
To be free
take your leave
Cherish life
may it be plentiful
as a mountain spring

dance of the clouds
a bright full moon
the clouds dance
light shines through
darkness is gone
to the night sky
the sun returns
Time
When all is done, nothing left.
What once was new, is old again.
To stand upon the shore,
the seas subconscious call.
Birds fly past, rekindle thoughts.
Rejoice! for the wind has given breath,
so we may feel the light
to ignite the pinnacles of heaven.
Existence
Existence shaped by form
a belief in it’s entirety
Unparalleled creation
a proclaiming voice
Civilisation
shaping the land into green
across the valley and upstream
where forests are cleared
a range of fields divides
replaced by mountain sides
through hillside pathways
across dual carriageways
the view of colours change
as civilisation has no end
Dreams
Live in your dreams
and hear me calling
within your life
you see me changing
afterlife is an image
what is left behind
a chance for peace
Penthouse
above is where I live
surrounded by the sky
seeing the birds pass by
looking out across the city
each day a new discovery
what wonderful scenery
to see the sun rise
then to see it set
colours change silhouette
the higher we are
better the view
come closer deja vu
Life In Motion
When looking for something that isn’t there
You have to find it twice
Once you have it keep it to yourself
True strength comes from within
Let yourself shine and show who you are
The maximum expression is your own life
Autumn leaves
Autumn leaves,
crunch under my feet.
Their disheveled shapes,
fallen cries.
Each tree, shakes off
its branches, in the wind.
As the season turns
and the weather changes.
Our paths become,
that of one,
who is lost in colour
and cannot change.
Platform to Platform
Sitting on the platform waiting for a train
late again
I wonder what my fellow commuters are thinking
Do they share in my plight
or go beyond it
into the night
with that sinking feeling
that we have waited all day
for the same train
