As dreams become our reality
We look towards the stars
When we lie in each other’s arms
Abandoning ourselves
Rendering us defenceless
Entwined thoughtout space and time
Together crossing the threshold
The unwritten language
Of lost scripture
Can only be read
By the clairvoyant
Flowers appear
Love blossoms
Bees hum
Birds sing
Nothing really changes
We remain the same
The only difference is
I will find you
Where you haven’t been
How do we define ourselves?
adrift from life’s shores,
isolated with our thoughts
waiting for a chance encounter.
Those that are Tyrants,
are condemned for their crimes,
the realization that their Kingdom
has now become a mausoleum.
Can you see beyond the horizon
Carried by one’s thoughts
Across the oceans of time
what once was old
is new again
restored to it’s original purpose
an endless cycle
of fulfillment and wonder
a life of solitude
can bring about reflection
to the ever fluidity of change
whatever we perceive
shall be stored in memory
as is the will of heaven made
where there is light
darkness cannot prevail
when there is resolve
the mind can find peace
when one feels remorse
the healing process can begin
If one pursues wealth
their heart will become poor
reaching back to the past
makes us it’s prisoner
relying on technology
makes slaves of us all
what was forgotten
has been consumed by chaos
weilding terror fuelled by flame
their battle cry galvanized
darkness shall prevail
the horror awaits
those who live in fear
of their foreshadowing
Sunlight shines down
brightening the day
casting shadows
across the way
And though these illusions
seem to say
what remains
is here to stay
Objects are placed
to occupy a space
in one case
they replace
Rain falls,
pitter patter on the roof.
Birds flee from the droplets
from under the trees.
The ground is sodden
as the grass becomes greener,
passing clouds wield thunder;
dreams are hidden
in a cloud of memories.
