Veil of illusions

Painted clouds

across a sky

I sit and dream

with contemplation

I write what unfolds

as stillness lies

what we share

is left unknown

spread far and wide

Looking onward

When I look out towards the hills

I feel a sense of loss

Abandoned places in ruin

A pathway leads

Towards the mountain

Where I will not follow

Beautiful blue flowers

They caught my gaze

down a lane I have not been.

curiously I went down

that lane

to admire;

the beautiful blue flowers.

I took a photo

to remind me

of what had transpired;

the joy of inspiration.

Leaf frog

In front of me

was a leaf frog

Passing me by

a grey path

Crisscrossing pattern

green/brown

All that is good

All that is good

is green in the world

hold onto the blue

for without both

we shall perish…

A Purple Flower

She smiled at me

I smiled at her

surrounding one another…

We all have something!

As each day passes

one wonders what possibilities await?

Decided.

In awe she shall be!

Robin

There, right there,

infront of me;

a sudden dart

and a worm.

the catch, the prize:

for me, as though it was…

he flew away

to return again.

Barren Hillsides

Barren hillsides
where I make my home
Open spaces
seldom view themselves
I live alone
where others go
i dare not venture
To be free
take your leave
Cherish life
may it be plentiful
as a mountain spring

Grey Days

Those days without a cause
seldom few, have but remorse,
to travel across the land,
hardships are reminiscent,
peace mends the hearts sorrow,
for now that journey
has come to an end.
