the setting sun
the setting sun
leaves the day behind
it hangs in the night sky
the fading sun
evening light
with great praise
we receive moonlight
the stars shine bright
throughout the night
Misty Moon
Misty moon
over the sky
leaves me in awe
mystfies me
we reach out for one another
but cannot connect
we leave behind no regrets
misty moon
Each day changes
The hills fade into the sky
as the sun turns into fire
changing clouds
obscure the view
thunder reigns
the day ends
night draws in
as the stars shoot across the sky
Listening to music
I get lost in my feelings
when listening to music
and disappear to a new world
of opportunities
drifting in and out
the waves crashing over me
reminiscing a past time
of essential being
letting the sounds
play out
all around me
the reason to be
Without Purpose
If without purpose
one drifts through life
he/she encounters no-one
friends become enemies
all the worlds played out
in shadows over an empty grave
which reads:
life and death together
hold the key to eternity
Rainbow Moon
I dream of a rainbow moon
a circle of light
it’s colour a reflection
of everything
Veil of illusions
Painted clouds
across a sky
I sit and dream
with contemplation
I write what unfolds
as stillness lies
what we share
is left unknown
spread far and wide
Flying stars
In the sky
as night passes
reflected dreams
swirling constellations
turn into bright colours
dying stars
we receive their light
upon the canvas above
Looking onward
When I look out towards the hills
I feel a sense of loss
Abandoned places in ruin
A pathway leads
Towards the mountain
Where I will not follow
Echoes of Life
